2 Reasons Why You Need to Invest in Philippine Mutual Fund

Investing in mutual fund is considered a very basic type of investment. Some considered it as Level 1 or Level 2 investing.  Hence, most Filipinos were not financially educated about this type of investment.

Here are two reasons why you need to invest in Philippine mutual fund.

1.                 Potential Higher Yield

As the industry is young, most of the mutual fund companies are all performing well.

excerpt from www.pifa.com.ph/philmutualfund_history. “Under the new Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of the Investment Company Act (ICA)  , the Galleon Fund was the 1st company to register and started selling its shares in Feb. 1, 1991 .   A few other investment companies followed suit, and the numbers have increased ever since.”

Historically, mutual (equity) fund can give you an average of 14% yield (not guaranteed)

Net Asset Value Per Share (NAVPS) Performance (as of 12/8/2011)

2.                 High Investment Outlook for Philippines

“The Philippine's "very robust and young population" presents a ready pool of talent, says Mark Matthews, Head of Research Asia at Bank Julius Baer.

“A recent survey by Bank of America-Merrill Lynch showed fund managers increasing their overweight position in the country, making it the third most preferred market, trailing China and Indonesia”

As Bro. Bo Sanchez mentioned in one of his Truly Rich Financial coaching seminar
“Mutual Fund is like a bowl of rice…everyone should have it”.

So you better get one…..

Happy Investing!!
